Rona B. Hitlin-Mason, LPC
All of us have times when we face problems that leave us feeling confused, sad, worried, or hopeless. We feel stuck in the same pattern of behaviors and emotions that prevent us from solving our problems. I offer help to people who are interested in learning to draw on their own strengths and resources to solve problems and to improve the quality of their lives and their relationships.
As a solution-oriented, strength-based therapist trained in family systems, I work with individuals, couples and families to change the patterns that are causing discomfort.
Please contact me if you are struggling with:
-
Couples issues (pre-marriage; marital conflict; post divorce relationships)
-
Family transitions such as divorce; stepfamilies; co-parenting, grief and loss
-
Family dynamics and want to improve your family relationships
-
Stress, Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Finding balance or meaning in your life
-
Life transitions such as employment related issues; adjusting to losses; parenting issues; retirement
I believe that there are two major factors that influence the success of therapy. One is your relationship with your therapist. The other factor is that you begin to feel hopeful about change early in the process. I strongly believe that you have the strength and skills to make change in your life. That hope and optimism helps to motivate you to do the work you need to do to improve your life and your relationships.
It is always an honor to accompany people on their journey to self-acceptance and relief of symptoms.
